The present invention provides an indoor unit of an air conditioner having an improved structure of a wire insertion part to minimize the bending of a wire when the wire is inserted into a main body. The indoor unit of a ceiling type air conditioner comprises: the main body having an inlet and an outlet; a heat exchanger for the heat exchange of air flowing in through the inlet to be disposed inside the main body; a control part fixated to the main body to control electrical components mounted in the main body; and the wire insertion part disposed on the sidewall of the main body where the control part is fixated to make the wire be inserted into the main body from the outside of the main body and be connected to the control part. The wire insertion part is curved into the shape of a V to face the inside of the main body.
