PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device that can accurately perform control relating to automatic stop and automatic startup of an engine.SOLUTION: The vehicle control device performs control relating to automatic stop and automatic startup of an engine based on an estimated value of brake tread force calculated by brake fluid pressure and brake booster pressure. The vehicle control device calculates a threshold based on an average value and standard deviation of the estimated value of brake tread force and compares the estimated value of brake tread force with the threshold to determine stepping-on of a brake pedal. |
