PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to confirm an in-focus degree of an image captured, more easily.SOLUTION: An focal area determination processing section calculates a focal score indicating an in-focus degree of each area of a captured image, on the basis of the captured image. A display control processing section determines an area having high focal score on the captured image, as a display center position, on the basis of the focal score of each area. A display processing section clips a predetermined area around the display center position on the captured image, as a zoom-in image, to be displayed in a display section. An image formed by enlarging a part of the captured image around the maximum focal area, is displayed. This technology is applicable to a digital still camera. |
