PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lighting appliance which is reduced in size (thinned in a reference axial direction).SOLUTION: In a vehicle lighting appliance having a light source 16 and a lens body 14, a prescribed light distribution pattern is formed of a first light distribution pattern and a second light distribution pattern which are superimposed on each other by light from a light source which permeates the lens body and is radiated frontward. The lens body includes a center lens part 26 arranged on a reference axis, and a peripheral lens part 30 arranged so as to surround the center lens part. The center lens part is constituted as a lens part in which the first light distribution pattern is formed of light from the light source which is made incident into the center lens part from a center incident face 26a, and emitted from a center emission face 26b. The peripheral lens part is constituted as a lens part in which the second light distribution pattern is formed of light from the light source which is made incident into the peripheral lens part from a peripheral incident face 30a, internally reflected at a peripheral reflection face 30b, and after that, emitted from a peripheral emission face 30c. |
