<p>The present invention refers to a controlled-atmosphere device for the manufacture of metallic porous components using pure metals and metallic alloys with melting points lower than 750°C, which is located inside a conventional furnace of electric resistances for producing the heat, avoiding the acquisition of an atmosphereûcontrolled furnace and allowing a lower amount of inert gas to be used, also reducing the operation time; on the other hand the syntering stage of the removable filler is removed, thus the manufacture of the metallic porous components being performed in four stages, which results in an easy, quick and efficient process. The device comprises a container for the pure metal or metallic alloy; a mold containing the removable filler; a threaded ring for adjusting the container and the mold; a vacuum chamber and a system for controlling the atmosphere.</p> |
