The present invention relates to a secondary diffusion lens for an LED having a cos^-3 light distribution structure using a multi-term series surface, and more specifically, to a secondary diffusion lens for an LED having a cos^-3 light distribution structure using a multi-term series surface, which optimizes the shape of the incident surface and the exit surface of a lens by using a multi-term series to maximize the range of an infinite uniform light distribution to diffuse light exiting from an LED into a wider range to reduce manufacturing costs from the uniform light distribution and a reduction in the number of LED mounting elements. According to the present invention, an incident angle and an exit angle have a cos^-3 light distribution structure. To satisfy the conditions for the incident angle and the exit angle, a shape equation Z for separating the incident surface and the exit surface from an optical axis is determined by the following mathematical equation, and the first order coefficient C1 in the following mathematical equation is nonzero. r is the radius about the optical axis and C is the curved surface coefficient of each series term. |
