PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device which can hold a portable information device such as a tablet terminal, an electronic book terminal, and a smartphone in an inclined state and enables supply of electric power to a laptop computer or the other portable information devices and LAN connection if needed, and to further provide a table equipped with the support device for the portable information device.SOLUTION: A support device 2 for a portable information device is provided at an edge part of a top plate 4 of a table 1 and has a stand function for a portable information device 3. The support device for a portable information device has a box body 5 which has an inclined surface 6 tilting backward on a front surface and is triangular in a side view, has a locking part 7 along a lower edge of the inclined surface to constitute the stand function for a tablet terminal or the like with the inclined surface, and has fixing means 10 for fixing the box body by fastening from below the top plate while the box body is placed at the edge part of the top plate. Further, a function to supply electric power to the portable information device is provided on the box body. |
