PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckling restrained brace in which fracture state of core material due to earthquake can be confirmed and the core material only can be easily replaced. ! SOLUTION: A buckling restrained brace 1 includes: a pair of platy core materials 2, 2 which are disposed parallel to each other with single planes facing each other and both ends of which are connected to a building frame of a building; and a restraining material 3 which is disposed between the core materials 2, 2 and restrains buckling of both core materials 2,2. The pair of core materials 2, 2 are joined to each other together with the restraining material 3 with a plurality of bolts 4 disposed at an interval in a longitudinal direction. !
