摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic pole position adjusting method of a synchronous motor, and a magnetic pole position adjusting device in which magnetic pole alignment can be performed by simple arithmetic operation.SOLUTION: A stator coil of the synchronous motor is DC-excited and a plurality of first inflection points changing a rate of change of a magnetic pole position detection value by a resolver from positive to negative and a plurality of second inflection points changing from negative to positive are detected, respectively. A first asymptote fpassing the plurality of first inflection points and a second asymptote fpassing the plurality of second inflection points are calculated by linear approximation, respectively. A time of an intersection of the first asymptote fand the second asymptote fis calculated from the magnetic pole position detection values corresponding to the plurality of first inflection points and the plurality of second inflection points and inclinations of the first asymptote fand the second asymptote f, respectively. A calculated time tof the intersection is substituted to the first asymptote for the second asymptote fto calculate an offset value &thetas;corresponding to the intersection. This offset value &thetas;is added to a magnetic pole position detection value &thetas;, thereby calculating a magnetic pole position to be used for control operation.
