PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security warning method applied to a portable terminal and a system thereof. ! SOLUTION: The security warning method includes the steps of: detecting whether the screen of a portable terminal is in a lighting state; detecting whether the face of a user faces on the screen when the screen is in the lighting state; detecting whether an application process in process is available in the portable terminal when detected that the face of the user faces on the screen; detecting whether the portable terminal reciprocates in a vertical direction when the application process in process is available; detecting whether a time by which the portable terminal continuously moves in a horizontal direction exceeds a set time when detected that the portable terminal vertically reciprocates in the vertical direction; and warning the user when the time by which the portable terminal continuously moves in a horizontal direction exceeds the set time. !
