PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship propulsion machine capable of using an ignition plug of any type of a simultaneous ignition system and an individual ignition system thereby enabling a component to be used in common and the manufacturing cost of the ship propulsion machine to be reduced.SOLUTION: A head part of an engine includes a plurality of insertion ports for spark plugs, a plurality of first fitting parts and a plurality of second fitting parts. The plurality of insertion ports for the spark plugs are arranged in parallel with a crank shaft in a vertical direction. The plurality of first fitting parts are arranged around the plurality of insertion ports. The first fitting parts are segments for use in fitting a plurality of coil parts each of which is integrally formed with the plurality of spark plugs of individual ignition system. The second fitting parts are separately arranged from the first fitting parts. The second fitting parts are segments for use in fitting coils connected to the spark plugs of simultaneous ignition system through cables. |
