PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem since the antenna of a reader/writer is arranged in a place which does not affect the shield currents of a ground line, and a capacitance system touch sheet and the antenna of the reader/writer are separately used, the casing shape of equipment is enlarged, resulting in a design and structure with no design degree-of-freedom.SOLUTION: An authentication device includes: a reader/writer having an antenna for transmitting information by an electric wave from the antenna of a non-contact IC card, and for receiving the electric wave; capacitance switch electrodes for inputting information with the finger or hand; and a ground line arranged such that the capacitance switch electrode is surrounded. The authentication device collates the information of a capacitance switch pressed with the finger or hand among the capacitance switch electrodes with information transmitted by the electric wave from the antenna of the non-contact IC card for achieving authentication. The pattern of a capacitance coupling system switch is characterized such that one or more non-conductive parts are formed in the capacitance switch electrode region. |
