PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration actuator and optical equipment with improved stability.SOLUTION: A vibration actuator 10 includes: a piezoelectric body 13 where a drive signal is input; an elastic body 12 joined to the piezoelectric body 13, in which vibration is excited by an input of the drive signal to the piezoelectric body 13 to generate vibration waves on a drive surface; and a moving body 15 press-contacted to the drive surface of the elastic body 12 and driven by the vibration waves. The elastic body 12 includes a plurality of projections 12a on the moving body 15 side, in which the number of projections 12a is 4.5 times or more the orders of vibration modes of the vibration waves generated in the elastic body 12. |
