<p>The present invention relates to a power switch of a remote controller. A light-emitting diode is in the remote controller and a light-receiving diode is in a power switch attached to a wall or like. When pushing an on or off button with the remote controller, the infrared light having a unique frequency, which is already inputted, is launched from the light-emitting diode. The light-receiving diode, which is configured to operate the on or off, in the power switch attached to the wall or like receives the infrared light and changes to the on or off. An infrared beam transmits a coded signal, in which the code is made of a binary combination of 0 and 1, and when the coded infrared beam reaches the power switch, a photodiode, which is a light-sensitive semiconductor element, or the light-receiving diode converts the infrared light into an electrical signal. The signal is to perform the operation of on or off to be carried out by passing through an amplifier circuit, a detection circuit and the like, and the power on and off of the power switch attached to the wall or like are formed on the surface of the power switch attached to the wall or like by the same principle and structure as the remote controller.
