<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emphasis addition device and an emphasis addition method, capable of setting an amplitude value of an emphasis waveform from any of a dB value and a Vvalue.SOLUTION: An emphasis addition unit comprises: a display control unit 5 which displays and controls any of a dB value input box 4Ca which inputs, as a dB value, an amplitude value to be set in a tap which can adjust a magnitude of a bit in the emphasis waveform to be added to a test signal or a Vvalue input box 4Cb which inputs the amplitude value as a Vvalue on a display screen of a display unit 4; input screen switching means 4E to be operated when displaying the dB value input box 4Ca or the Vvalue input box 4Cb according to a unit of the amplitude value to be set; a calculation processing unit 6 which calculates a setting value for generating an emphasis of each tap according to an amount of amplitudes based on the set and input amplitude value; and an emphasis waveform addition unit 7 which adds the emphasis waveform generated on the basis of the setting value calculated by the calculation processing unit 6 to the test signal.</p> |
