PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of directly measuring a voltage of a common wire. ! SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a display area and a peripheral area. The display area comprises: a plurality of scan signal lines arranged on a first metal layer; a plurality of video signal lines arranged on a second metal layer positioned above a first insulation layer covering the first metal layer; a common electrode arranged above a second insulation layer covering the second metal layer; a plurality of common wires supplying a common voltage to the common electrode, arranged on a third metal layer; a pixel electrode arranged on pixels, facing the common electrode; and the pixels.
