The present invention provides a photographing device which obtains appropriate quality by maintaining sensitivity of a photographing element and can control a focus detection pixel independent from the rest of photographing pixels. The photographing device includes a first semiconductor chip and a second semiconductor chip. On the first semiconductor chip, light reception units of a first pixel group and a second pixel group and a first pixel driving circuit, formed to drive pixels of the first pixel group, are arranged. On the second semiconductor chip, a second pixel driving unit, formed to drive pixels of the second pixel group, is arranged. |
