PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of further reducing a contact area with the skin of a wearer and having excellent crease suppression effects and favorable cushioning properties.SOLUTION: A top sheet 1 of an absorbent article comprising a plurality of fusion parts 21 including thermally fusible fibers and formed by hot embossing are formed to produce a plurality of polygonal areas 22 with polygonal profile. The polygonal areas 22 are configured to align along at least different two directions D1 and D2 at some intervals apart in the respective directions. A polygonal profile of each polygonal area 22 is formed by the plurality of fusion parts 21 having edges forming corner parts of a polygon, and further the periphery thereof is enclosed by linear protrusion parts 25 protruding to the fusion parts 21. The polygonal area 22 includes a central protrusion part 26 at a part enclosed by the plurality of fusion parts forming the polygonal profile, and the linear protrusion parts 25 protrude higher than the central protrusion part 26 across the whole circumference of the polygonal area 22.
