PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device capable of preventing information stored in a memory from being rewritten by light transmitted through a pixel array. ! SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging device according to an embodiment includes a first chip and a second chip. The first chip has a pixel array in which a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements corresponding to respective pixels of a captured image are arranged in a two-dimensional array and outputs, for each pixel, a pixel signal corresponding to a signal charge photoelectrically converted by the photoelectric conversion elements. The first chip is laminated on the second chip, and the second chip has a memory for storing the pixel signal outputted from the first chip outside a projection region formed by projecting the pixel array in the thickness direction of the first chip. !
