PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device having stable detection output by attaining sufficient magnetic force.SOLUTION: A rotation angle detection device 14 comprises: a magnet 21 which has, in each end side in an axial direction, N-pole magnetized parts N1 and N2 and S-pole magnetized parts S1 and S2 utilizing an axial-direction end face in a prescribed circumferential direction range as a magnetized surface and which is integrally rotated with a drive shaft 12a of an electric motor 12; and a magnetism sensor 22 which is disposed opposite to the magnet 21 to detect a rotation angle of the drive shaft 12a. The magnet 21 is magnetized so that, in the N- pole magnetized parts N1 and N2, a generated magnetic field of an outside is larger than a generated magnetic field of an inside in a radial direction, and, in the S-pole magnetized parts S1 and S2, a generated magnetic field of an outside is larger than a generated magnetic field of an inside in the radial direction. |
