PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a behavior estimation device capable of estimating a kind of behavior other than walking.SOLUTION: A behavior estimation device according to an embodiment includes an acceleration detection unit, an acceleration strength detection unit, a directional change detection unit and a determination unit. The acceleration detection unit detects an acceleration from output of an acceleration sensor that detects accelerations in two or more axial directions, and outputs an acceleration signal. The acceleration strength detection unit detects acceleration strength from the acceleration signal detected by the acceleration detection unit. The directional change detection unit uses a bandpass filter transmitting a prescribed frequency range to detect a change in each axial direction of the acceleration sensor to a gravitational acceleration direction. The determination unit determines walking or behavior other than the walking on the basis of the change in each axial direction of the acceleration sensor to the gravity direction, and then estimates a kind of the behavior other than walking on the basis of the acceleration strength. |
