PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum maintaining device having a novel structure different from conventional vacuum maintaining devices. ! SOLUTION: A particulate adsorbent for a vacuum device comprises: a core layer that adsorbs at least nitrogen or oxygen; and a shell layer that covers the core layer and blocks the entry of moisture into the core layer. !
