<p>A walking aid for persons with foot or ankle injury comprising a generally L-shaped leg support assembly wherein it is modified such that the leg is bent to 90 degrees, the knee and the most proximal part of the leg is supported thereof secured held through Velcro around the leg and thigh and the distal leg and foot is allowed to hang free. This allows full weight bearing on the lower extremity with the weight centered on the patella, but without putting weight on the ankle and the foot. The height is adjustable through the provision of an adjustable vertical support consisting of an outer the telescopically insertable inner member and an enlarged rectangular base with a plurality of ground contact footings spacedly disposed at a predetermined position at the bottom of said enlarged base.</p> |
