The present invention relates to an anti-reflective glass substrate which has a reflection preventing layer of a certain thickness on the glass substrate surface. The reflection preventing layer has at least two sequential layers of a first layer and a second layer in the direction of the depth from the surface, wherein the first layer and the second layer have multiple pores, respectively, and the porosity of the first layer is smaller than the porosity of the second layer. The present invention also relates to a method for fabricating an anti-reflective glass substrate which has a reflection preventing layer of a certain thickness on the glass substrate surface, and comprises: a step in which a glass substrate is etched by a first etching fluid; and a step in which the glass substrate is etched by a second etching fluid, wherein the first etching fluid has denser molality of multivalent metal ion fluid than the second etching fluid. The present invention also relates to a method for fabricating an anti-reflective glass substrate which has a reflection preventing layer of a certain thickness on the glass substrate surface, and comprises: a step in which a glass substrate is etched by a first etching fluid; and a step in which the glass substrate is etched by a second etching fluid, wherein the first etching fluid has denser molality of hydroxide and unsaturated compound than the second etching fluid.
