<p>This invention describes a sealing insert for a ball valve, a seat for a ball valve including that sealing insert and a ball valve including that seat. The sealing insert has a multilayer structure in which layers of graphite alternate with metal sheets. The metal sheets can be, for example, sheets of steel. The insert described in this invention permits the optimization of the ball valve sealing insert, particularly under conditions of high temperature and in the presence of fluids that include solid particles in suspension.</p> |
