THE UPPER RAIL OF THE SLIDING TYPE DOOR FOR SHOWCASE

The present invention provides a showcase upper rail for a sliding door joined to a door by adhering and being supported on the top of the door to prevent cold air from flowing out of a showcase without hindering an attachment and detachment of the door to the showcase, wherein a flexible blocking rib is placed on both sides of a rail groove having an insertion space for an upper rail to come in contact with both upper sides of the door to block a leakage of cold air between the rail groove and the floor. Therefore, the showcase upper rail for a sliding door fundamentally prevents a leakage of cold air without hindering the attachment and detachment of the door, thereby improving an overall cold storage and freezing efficiency.
