METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INDEXING KEYWORD TO BROADCAST CONTENT

<p>Provided are a method and an apparatus for indexing one or more keywords to broadcast content. One or more keywords can be extracted by analyzing text information of the broadcast content. One or more keywords can show the contents of the broadcast content. Since one or more keywords are indexed in the broadcast content, a user who tries to search for the broadcast content can search for the broadcast content through a search word. The broadcast content keyword indexing method comprises the steps of: extracting a plurality of noun words by analyzing at least one text information among metadata and additional data of the broadcast content; respectively calculating the appearance frequency of the noun words in the broadcast content during a predetermined time; choosing one or more keywords of the broadcast content among the noun words based on the calculated appearance frequency; associating one or more keywords and information on the predetermined time to each other; and indexing one or more keywords associated with information on the predetermined time in the broadcast content.</p>
