A method of continuous casting according to the present invention comprises a process of cooling a cast-piece by injecting cooling water to the cast-piece which is drawn from a mold. In cooling the cast-piece by injecting cooling water into a section until the cast-piece is drawn and bent, in a first border part a cooling water is injected in an amount of a second cooling water which is less than the amount of a first cooling water, and in a second border part a cooling water is injected in an amount of a third cooling water which is less than the amount of the first cooling water and is greater than the amount of the second cooling water. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an intensive cooling of the border part of the cast-piece compared with the center part can be suppressed or prevented. Accordingly, in a process of cooling of a section prior to a bending of the cast-piece from the directly under part compared with a conventional case, the difference of temperature between the center part and border part in the direction of the cast-piece width can be reduced, thereby suppressing the occurrence of a subsurface defect in a border part of the cast-piece in the direction of the cast-piece width. Accordingly, an additional process for removing defects is not required, thereby reducing the processing time and reducing the error rate of a product. |
