<p>The method involves sending risk information (IR) to a management unit (5) when a detection unit (8) e.g. heat sensor, detects the risk of deterioration of a computer server (2). A data transfer request (RT) is sent to the server by the management unit following the reception of the information. A portion of stored data is transferred from the computer server to a storage server (12) installed on a site external to a room following the reception of the request. An event message (ME) is sent to an additional terminal (14) e.g. cell phone, by the management unit upon reception of the request. The event message is in form of short message service. An independent claim is also included for a system for emergency backup of data stored on a computer server and/or computer equipment.</p> |
