<p>The pump comprises a first housing part (10), in which a pump piston (14) is guided in a cylinder bore (12), which limits a pump working chamber (16) in the first housing part (10). The pump working chamber (16) is connected with a low pressure inlet (34) and a high pressure outlet (38). The first housing part (10) is disposed in a receiver (46) of a support element (47).
