<p>The present invention relates to an injection nozzle for molding sand mounted on a lower portion of a sand hopper storing molding sand therein to inject the molding sand into a mold. The injection nozzle (100) for molding sand according to an embodiment of the present invention is composed of a body (110) in a cylindrical shape. A screw thread unit (112) is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the body (110). A vertical hole (113) is formed in the middle of the body to penetrate a lower and an upper portion of the body. A tapered surface (114) is formed on an upper portion of the vertical hole (113). A stoppage protrusion (115) is formed on the end of the tapered surface (114). An open/close nozzle unit (120) is mounted into the vertical hole (113) to discharge molding sand (10) downwards by a pressure. The open/close nozzle unit (120) is formed in a cylindrical shape having an opening on an upper portion thereof and a plurality of fragment parts disposed on a lower portion thereof and (122) cut in a radial direction from the center thereof. The present invention was devised to resolve the above problems. The nozzle opens and closes precisely to prevent the molding sand from leaking to minimize base material losses and reduce product defects since the nozzle does not get clogged to increase work efficiency.</p> |
