In the present invention, a switching circuit (10) is used in a rectifying unit on the high side of a boost chopper, the switching circuit (10) having a low-breakdown-voltage transistor (11) and a high-breakdown-voltage transistor (13) that have drains connected to each other, and a diode (15) (high-speed recirculation diode) in which the cathode is connected to the source of the low-breakdown-voltage transistor (11) and in which the anode is connected to the source of the high-breakdown-voltage transistor (13). Prior to a recirculation current being generated due to a low-side transistor (22) turning off, the low-breakdown-voltage transistor (11) is turned on while the high-breakdown-voltage transistor (13) is kept off, whereupon the low-side transistor (22) is turned off. |
