A method and device for providing a search result. The method comprises: acquiring, by a provisioning device, a plurality of search results; and displaying at least one optimized search result of the plurality of search results in a first region of a result page, and displaying at least one ordinary search result of the plurality of search results in a second region of the result page. By displaying different search results in different regions on a result page, reading demands of a user are satisfied, and the efficiency of the user acquiring information and the resource utilization rate of a screen are increased, thereby improving the user's usage experience.
