<p>The present invention relates to a virtual machine migration method and device. The method comprises: defining mainframes with mainframe information conforming to the same selection standard as the same mainframe set so as to form a mainframe set pool, wherein the mainframe set pool comprises at least one mainframe set; determining the migration range of the virtual machine from the mainframe set pool according to the virtual machine migration range properties in configuration options or properties of the virtual machine, wherein the virtual machine migration range properties are used for determining the migration range of the virtual machine; and determining a target mainframe of the virtual machine migration in the migration range of the virtual machine. The present invention provides a unified model for the migration ranges of virtual machines, and different migration ranges can be flexibly set for different virtual machines, and management and control over the virtual machines are simplified and unified.</p> |
