<p>The present invention relates to a safety apparatus for a governor in a portable butane gas burner which can safely mount a gas container to an accurate location and in an accurate state of the portable butane gas burner to allow safe use of the portable butane gas burner. The safety apparatus for a governor in a portable butane gas burner according to the present invention comprises: a governor to which a gas container is mounted and provided with a gas flow passage to supply gas from the gas container to a gas nozzle unit; and an ignition lever rotatably mounted on the governor. A safety member is disposed on an outside of the governor to mount the gas container to the governor and whose rotation is stopped by a protrusion formed on a rear surface of the ignition level disposed in an initial position. While the ignition lever is rotated to a certain angle, the safety member is rotated towards an upper side of the governor by an elastic member to contact a front surface of the gas container to be mounted to the governor to limit a movement of the gas container towards the governor to prevent the gas container from being mounted to the governor.</p> |
