PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor-laser control device that allows stably outputting a desired light waveform from a semiconductor laser.SOLUTION: An LD control circuit 23, which is a semiconductor-laser control device supplying a pulse-shaped driving current to an LD 14, includes: an overshoot-current supplying section supplying an overshoot current to the LD 14 at the time of rising the driving current; and an undershoot-current supplying section supplying an undershoot current to the LD 14 at the time of falling the driving current. The overshoot-current supplying section adjusts the overshoot current according to changes of the driving current, and the undershoot-current supplying section adjusts the undershoot current according to changes of the driving current.
