PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture ceramic particles that meet following four requirements: (1) the particles are independent on a material, size, and shape; (2) the particles are manufactured at a low cost using an inexpensive material; (3) the particles have properties of both of a metal and a metal oxide; and (4) the particles have high heat resistance like a metal and are less oxidized or corroded than a metal.SOLUTION: Two kinds of organic metallic compound are adsorbed on the surface of ceramic particles to form a double structure. The mass of the ceramic particles is subjected to thermal treatment in the atmosphere to thermally decompose the two kinds of organic metallic compound in two stages. The mass of fine metal particles and the mass of fine metal-oxide particles are thus deposited on the surface of the ceramic particles to form a double structure. Therefore, the ceramic particles that meet the above four requirements are manufactured. |
