PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure early warming-up using an EGR cooler, and improve an EGR function.SOLUTION: An EGR pipeline 12 is branched from an exhaust passage, and a middle part of the EGR pipeline 12 and a middle part of an exhaust pipe 11 are connected to each other by a bypass passage 16. Respectively coolers 17, 18 are interposed on the middle part of the EGR pipeline 12 and the bypass passage 16. A flow control valve 22 is provided at a portion of the exhaust pipe 11 between a connection part of the EGR pipeline 12 and a connection part of the bypass passage 16. During warming-up, the flow control valve 22 is drawn to forcedly flow exhaust gas to the bypass passage 16 from the EGR pipeline 12, so that cooling water and oil can be early warmed. As a result, early warming-up can be secured. An amount of EGR gas reflowing to an intake system is adjusted by the flow control valve 22, the EGR valve 14 and the like, and therefore, an EGR function can be also improved.
