<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which manages such a time as to start a cleaning movement among image forming devices and can perform a periodic cleaning movement even when a host PC is absent.SOLUTION: An image forming system has such an image forming device which can take states including a first state capable of activating the image forming device via a network and a second state having a power consumption lower than the first state capable of activation via the network. Therein, the image forming system has at least one image forming device of the first state, the image forming device of the first state stores such a time as to activate the image forming devices of the first and second states with a timer and the image forming devices of the first and/or the second states are activated at stored times subjected to timer activation. The image forming devices of the first and second states perform predetermined processing when being activated.</p> |
