PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonlinear resistance resin material capable of uniformly dispersing a filler in a matrix resin and obtaining excellent nonlinear resistance characteristics.SOLUTION: A nonlinear resistance resin material 20 comprises: a matrix resin 22 consisting of a liquid epoxy resin; ZnO containing particles 21 dispersed and included in matrix resin 22 and consisting of a sintered body having zinc oxide as a principal component; semiconductive whiskers 10 dispersed and included in the matrix resin 22 and consisting of zinc oxide; and a self-polymerization catalyst added to the matrix resin 22 and promoting the self-polymerization of the epoxy resin.
