PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder and as image formation apparatus that does not lower productivity even when conveyance means and downstream conveyance means downstream therefrom use the same driving source. ! SOLUTION: A sheet feeder includes a control part 18 which performs registration control to stop a sheet P fed from a paper feed cassette 44 by a pickup roller 62 temporarily at a predetermined position between a separation roller pair 22 and a draw-out conveyor roller pair 89, and then to convey the sheet P stopped at the predetermined position downstream through the pickup roller 62, separation roller pair 22, and draw-out conveyor roller pair 89 a predetermined time later. !
