PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a ceramic heater. ! SOLUTION: A ceramic heater includes: a base body composed of a ceramic material and extending from the rear end side to the tip side; and an exothermic resistive element composed of a ceramic material and buried in the base body. The exothermic resistive element includes: a folding part disposed on the tip side of the base body to form a folding shape; a pair of linear parts mutually extending from the folding part to the rear end side; a pair of conduction parts mutually extending from each of the pair of linear parts to the rear end side, and having a cross section larger than each linear part; and a terminal part protruding from one conduction part out of the pair of conduction parts and exposed on the surface of the base body. At least one conduction part out of the pair of conduction parts includes a columnar protruding salient part which is disposed closer to the tip side than the terminal part. !
