PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with a simple structure, which can reduce load applied to a circuit board from a terminal when the circuit board is inserted into or extracted from it. ! SOLUTION: The connector 1 comprises: a housing 10 in which an insertion chamber 20 into which a circuit board 50 is inserted, is formed; a terminal group which is held in the housing 10, and in which a plurality of pair or terminals 30a, 30b having contact parts 31a, 31b electrically connected to a front surface 50a and a back surface 50b of the circuit board 50 to be inserted, are arranged in a predetermined direction; and an opening/closing body 40 which expands a gap G between contact parts 31a, 31b by being held at a holding position between a pair of terminals 30a, 30b.
