Disclosed in the present invention are a touch screen control method and terminal equipment. The touch screen control method comprises: obtaining information about touch on touch points in a control region when a touch screen is in a state of noncontact touch, wherein the control region is a region above the touch screen, the control region is parallel to a plane where the touch screen is located, and the area of the control region is smaller than that of the touch screen; and controlling a cursor on the touch screen to move according to the obtained information about touch on the touch points as well as the corresponding relationship between the touch points and the pixel points of the touch screen. In the present invention, the cursor on the touch screen is controlled to move according to the obtained information about touch on the touch points as well as the corresponding relationship between the touch points and the pixel points of the touch screen, and accordingly the entire touch screen is controlled. Since the area of the control region is smaller than that of the touch screen, a user is able to control the touch screen of a larger area through the control region of a smaller area, thereby achieving the user's single-hand operations. |
