This pupil detection device is provided with: a specifying unit (351) which, from an image captured of an eye, specifies a pupil region and a corneal reflection region; a first estimation unit (352) which uses a first region contained in the pupil region to estimate the center position of the pupil; a second estimation unit (353) which uses a second region contained in the pupil region and different from the first region to estimate the center position of the pupil; and a pupil position detection unit (358) which detects the center position of the pupil on the basis of the center position of the pupil estimated by the first estimation unit (352) and the center position of the pupil estimated by the second estimation unit (353).
