PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply device in which convenience is improved when washing scale.SOLUTION: A hot water supply device includes: a burner 4; a heat exchanger 3 for heating hot water by heat from the burner 4; a scale detection unit for detecting occurrence of scale clogging in the heat exchanger 3; a notification unit for notifying an error when the scale detection unit detects generation of scale for equal to or more than a predetermined amount; and a control unit 10 which, when the scale detection unit has detected generation of the scale for equal to or more than a predetermined amount and the notification unit has notified of the error, controls so as to prohibit a combustion operation of the burner 4 after that. The control unit 10 is configured so as to start a washing mode for washing inside the heat exchanger 3, when a shift operation to the washing mode is detected after the combustion operation of the burner 4 is prohibited. |
