摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature and fault measurement method capable of accurately measuring an environmental temperature even in a severe environment under a high temperature and high radiation environment.SOLUTION: A temperature and fault measurement device by an ultrasonic wave for measuring a temperature of a measurement environment and presence/absence of a fault of a structure in the measurement environment by providing a metallic rod that serves as an ultrasonic propagation medium in a measurement environment with measurement notches for measurement being paired with each other, inserting the metallic rod into the measurement environment, propagating the ultrasonic wave to the metallic rod by means of an ultrasonic sensor, and analyzing reflection waves from the measurement notches of the metallic rod and a tip end of the metallic rod, includes: ultrasonic transmission control means; ultrasonic reception control means; temperature analysis means; and flaw detection means detecting the fault of the structure.
