<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which when adjusting in performing distortion correction/trimming processing of a document area, it is necessary to return to a step before distortion correction and to redo processing, so that response performance or usability is not excellent.SOLUTION: An image processing device generates an output image by performing the following: calculating a first parameter for performing distortion correction from a plurality of points located on an outline of an object area included in an image; performing distortion correction of the object area by using the first parameter; setting a margin area around the corrected object area; receiving adjustment of the plurality of points in the way that at least a part of the margin area is included in the object area; performing distortion correction of an area included in the object area of the image anew when the plurality of points are adjusted; calculating a second parameter for performing distortion correction from the plurality of adjusted points in response to settlement of the adjustment of the plurality of points; and performing distortion correction of an area shown by the plurality of points adjusted in the image by using the second parameter.</p> |
