PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer member 109 for a walking stick, which is less likely to come off a ferrule 108 of the walking stick 101. ! SOLUTION: A gummous anti-coming-off ring 111, which has a hole 111a with a diameter slightly smaller in dimension than thickness of a body part of a ferrule 108, is provided through a link 112 with length smaller in dimension than the depth of a ferrule fitting hole 202, from a part, near a tip of the ferrule fitting hole 202, of a tip rubber 109.
