Methods are provided for using antibodies that bind one or more cysteinyl leukotrienes (cysLTs) for treatment of diseases, including inflammatory diseases and asthma, associated with aberrant levels of one or more cysLTs. Anti-cysLT antibodies and antigen-binding antibody fragments, and compositions containing such antibodies and antibody fragments, are also provided.

A method of treating a disease or condition associated with aberrant levels of one or more cysteinyl leukotriene (cysLT) species, comprising administering to a subject having a disease or condition associated with aberrant levels of one or more cysLT species an effective amount of an antibody or fragment thereof that binds one or more cysLT species, whereby said disease or condition is treated.
